About The Event

Dora and Catherine are excited to invite you to this unique day workshop where we bring together different practices for you, so at the end of the day you leave feeling REcentred, REnewed and REenergised. You will regain a sense of calmness, clarity and freedom. You will take with you some tools and simple practices that you can use in your day to day life to keep you centred, calm, resilient, peaceful and grounded when you feel you need to REset from the craziness and stress of life.

As we reset to a new season, Autumn, we will use this time of the year to help us reconnect with ourselves, become more self aware. As we enter the routine of Autumn, we will together explore how mindfulness, yoga, essential oils, sound, self expression through spontaneous dance and creativity can support us in our daily life.

We will also explore how connection with the Earth and Nature can support us in remaining centred and grounded. We will focus to achieve this through our connection with our base or root chakra which is the foundation of all our life.

So, you will learn how this chakra can support you through the different practices in feeling more resilient, centred, calm and grounded.

The root chakra is the first chakra and is located at the base of the spine. It is the root of your being and establishes the deepest connections with your physical body, environment and the Earth.

So, if at the moment, you are feeling out of your centre, tired, overwhelmed, too busy and a bit lost you will definitely benefit from experiencing all the practices. You will reboot and reset to a new way of life that you are wishing for right now. You will regain your rhythm with life.

This is what we will do together during the course of the day:

10.00 - Opening / Introduction

10:30 - Catherine will guide you to a MINDFULNESS practice to bring us to the present moment, to reconnect us with ourselves, brings more self awareness and understanding. The Mindfulness practice will end with a SENSORY AWARENESS exercise which is an essential skill to know in our daily life to recentre and reground when we are stressed.

11:30 - An introduction to the base / root chakra - How having a balanced base chakra supports us in our daily life.

12:00 - Dora will guide you through a beautiful hatha yoga sequence designed for balancing your root chakra. HATHA YOGA is a more traditional way of practising yoga. It focuses on breath and physical alignment , increases self-awareness and builds strength, endurance and balance. By the end of the sequence you will defenitely feel more grounded, more connected to Mother Earth and more rooted in your own being.

13:00 - A SOUND BATH is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound (himalayan singing bowls, gongs, vocal and wind chimes ) to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes. We will use the power of sound to bring balance, relaxation and a sense of well -being to our mind, body & spirit.

13:30 - Lunch break

14:45 -You will get a little insight to the magical world of ESSENTIAL OILS, how they affect us on physical, mental and emotional level. We will use essential oils during our yoga practice too. Adding essential oils into your yoga practice can deepen and expand your yoga experience in new dimensions with just a few powerful, healing drops.

15:15 - CHARKADANCE - REBOOTING OUR BASE CHAKRA. This dance is inspired by indigenous cultures so we can connect to our roots, instincts and grounding. Through music that resonates to the vibration of the root chakra we will activate the energy within our own chakra and connect to your own energy at this centre. Following the dance we will carry a spontaneous creative drawing exercise to help you integrate your experiences and take it with you as guidance to what needs to be reset for a more grounded, centred and spontaneous life.

16:30 - Integration and closing

EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A POCKET GUIDE with practices that you can use in your daily life: *Tips to boost your base chakra in your daily life * Yoga poses * A sensory awareness exercise to keep you centred and grounded * A mindfulness practice audio

INFORMATION A peaceful location in the Paphos district will be announced soon. Snacks and refreshments will be served. Please bring your own healthy lunch or else we can recommend resto / bars in the area Energy Exchange - Eur47 per person

Besides lunch break we will also have short refreshment breaks This is a safe sacred place where everyone is welcome to share and give feedback with love and compassion and without judgement. We will also have some oracle card decks with us which we can use if you wish and time permitting We recommend you wear a touch of red :)

WHAT TO BRING * your own yoga mat ( for request we can provide yoga mat) a cushion * a towel * plenty of water * healthy packed lunch * a journal and a pen / pencil
