Course Goals
The Women’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training – Soma Path is designed to guide women into a deep, embodied understanding of yoga as a holistic path of self-awareness, balance, and conscious living.
The primary goals of this training are to:
-
Offer a strong foundation in traditional Hatha Yoga rooted in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, honoring lineage, authenticity, and classical teachings.
-
Support embodied learning, where yoga is not only studied intellectually, but experienced through the body, breath, nervous system, and inner awareness.
-
Cultivate understanding of subtle and energetic anatomy, including pranic flow, chakras, nadis, and the relationship between the nervous system, endocrine system, emotions, and consciousness.
-
Empower women to teach yoga with clarity, confidence, and integrity, grounded in ethical responsibility, safety, and inclusivity.
-
Honor the unique needs of women’s bodies and lives, including cyclical rhythms, hormonal balance, emotional awareness, and sustainable practice across different life phases.
-
Develop conscious teaching skills, including intelligent sequencing, skillful use of breath, presence-based instruction, and trauma-aware sensitivity.
-
Encourage self-inquiry and personal transformation, supporting trainees to walk the yogic path with humility, devotion, and authenticity.
-
Prepare graduates to teach professionally, whether in group classes, private sessions, women-centered spaces, or wellness settings.
This training is not about creating perfect postures or performance-based teaching. Its goal is to nurture grounded, embodied yoga teachers who teach from lived experience, deep listening, and respect for the yogic tradition.
General Course Description
The Women’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training – Soma Path is a 200-hour foundational training created specifically for women who wish to deepen their personal practice and/or step into the role of a yoga teacher with confidence, depth, and integrity.
This training is especially suited for women who are not seeking a fast-track certification, but a slow, embodied, and meaningful journey into yoga. Spanning over more than a year, the Soma Path offers time for integration, reflection, and genuine inner transformation. It is ideal for those who wish to grow into teaching gradually, honoring their own rhythm and depth of experience.
Rooted in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, this training approaches yoga as a living science of inner refinement. Traditional Hatha Yoga practices form the backbone of the program, including asana, pranayama, meditation, relaxation, and yogic philosophy. These practices are transmitted in a way that is experiential, embodied, and accessible, while remaining faithful to their classical roots.
At the heart of the training lies the Soma Path. Soma is understood in its classical yogic meaning as the lunar essence or nectar of consciousness — a cosmic principle of nourishment, receptivity, grace that pervades the universe. Through refined practice, breath awareness, nervous system regulation, and meditative absorption, trainees are guided to experience yoga as an alchemical process, balancing solar and lunar energies and cultivating inner stability, clarity, and presence.
This training is intentionally designed for women. Special attention is given to women’s physiology, nervous systems, emotional landscapes, and cyclical nature. The curriculum integrates subtle anatomy, energetic awareness, and yogic psychology, offering tools that are regulating, nourishing, and sustainable in modern life.
The learning environment is supportive, reflective, and deeply respectful. Trainees are invited into self-practice, journaling, inquiry, and dialogue, allowing space for personal growth alongside professional development. Teaching methodology emphasizes safety, ethical responsibility, inclusive language, and conscious communication.
The Women’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training – Soma Path is suitable for:
-
women who wish to become yoga teachers
-
yoga practitioners seeking depth and authenticity
-
women interested in therapeutic, energetic, and women-centered yoga
-
those longing for a slower, more embodied and meaningful approach to yoga
Graduates leave with a strong foundation to teach yoga responsibly, while also carrying yoga as a living, supportive presence in their own lives.

Why this training is different?
The Women’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training – Soma Path is NOT designed as a fast-track certification or a surface-level immersion. It is a slow, embodied, and integrative journey, created for women who wish to truly live yoga before teaching it.
Depth over speed
This training unfolds over more than a year, allowing time for practice, reflection, and genuine integration. Rather than compressing learning into a short, intensive format, the Soma Path honors the understanding that yoga matures through consistency, patience, and lived experience.
Rooted in lineage and tradition
The curriculum is firmly grounded in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, honoring classical Hatha Yoga, pranayama, meditation, and yogic philosophy as a living, experiential science. Teachings are transmitted with respect for lineage, integrity, and embodied understanding.
The Soma Path – yoga as alchemy
At the heart of this training is the understanding of Soma as the lunar nectar of consciousness. Practice is approached as an alchemical process, balancing solar and lunar energies, refining the nervous system, and cultivating inner stability, clarity, and receptivity.
Designed specifically for women
This training honors women’s bodies, nervous systems, emotional landscapes, and cyclical rhythms. Subtle anatomy, energetic awareness, and self-regulation are woven throughout the curriculum, supporting practices that are sustainable, nourishing, and deeply respectful of women’s lived experience.
Embodied learning, not performance
The focus is not on perfect postures or external achievement. Instead, trainees are guided to listen inwardly, develop sensitivity, and teach from presence, authenticity, and deep listening.
Mentorship beyond certification
The Soma Path is held as a relationship, not a transaction. Trainees receive ongoing guidance, personal support, and mentorship throughout the training — and remain connected beyond graduation.
This training is for women who feel called to walk the yogic path with sincerity, patience, and devotion — and who wish to teach from experience, integration, and inner truth.
